Winter Projects
Thanks, no it’s just Aervoe with a mesh laundry bag for pattern. I’ve had a few armorer certifications on the M4/AR for years and after a while of building/diagnosing them for people...I tried my hand at painting too lol. Key is good spray paint. Aervoe is the best!

Woohoo next season can’t get here fast enough!! Interesting the 1200 lb rear bags work for both the Max and Makai.

Be interesting to see your before and after shots adding the extra ballast. You’ll have to post up pics of all the bags full. Nice upgrade!

Lot of tear down, cleaning, little welding, priming, painting and finally getting to put something back together. Only have a few weeks left before I have to make room in the shop Good problems to have!!

The cab and frame are looking good! I hope to start on my 69 C10 shortbed sometime in 2020.
Finished the ceramic and pulled it out to check for highspots. Found some! Lol. I’ll polish them out by hand with some essence+.
Time to put some 18’s on it I bought as a reward for learning to do the correction/ceramic myself vs paying a pro

Thanks, I worked on that this weekend. I had to do some beating and banging with a BFH, some grinding/cutting on the bumpstops, and rolled the top middle of the fender to make the 10.5”wide rears clear everything.
Rolling the fenders made me a bit nervous since I don’t have a fender roller. Used a heat gun and small softface deadblow hammer and took my time. I’m happy with the results:
