    Default Boat Cover questions

I have a 2006 outback ls and my cover tore. looking for a new one but am unable to find one pre-made. I found one that is not made for one with a tower and found ones for the 2006 outback lsv. I keep it in my garage a lot of the time so I don't want to spend $1000 on a cover. does anyone know if a cover for a outback lsv will fit a ls? or if its possible to make a non tower cover work with my boat that has a tower? thanks

Yes, the LSV and LS are identical covers.

Okay so it doesn't matter inboard or stern drive. There both the same?

    Correct. Makes no difference.

Westland makes one to fit your boat. I have a Westland for my LSV and it fits better than the factory cover that came with the boat.

Bought a 2007 Outback new, w/o tower, w/swim platform, came with an Attwood morning cover. Has performed well for 13 years. Need a replacement.
Contacted Atwood, no longer making new or replacement covers for Moombas.
Would like to find an OEM type replacement, that would include 3 pole pockets, draw string, and tie-downs.

    VA LSV,
Could you provide a few more details regarding your cover? Material? Includes pole pockets and draw string?

Any and all suggestions would truly be appreciated.

I went with shark skin plus and the cover is made with a draw rope and rope ratchets on both sides. Fits snug and no poles needed. Much easier to secure than the original Attwood that had to be tied at the rear.

    Ok one more question.
Went to the website. Tried to look up my boat. No listing for a 2007 Outback.
Shows a listing for a 2006. Are the hulls the same for these model years? Would a cover for a 2006 fit a 2007?
Looking up the specs on the Moomba website, they appear to be the same length and beam width.
