    Default Shaft and strut alignment

Hey guys, super windy day in MN the other day and our boat floated over the rope and didn't notice it. Started the engine and wrapped the rope around the prop. It was still connected to the tower and got so tight the motor cut out. I got the rope out fine but I'm wondering if it bent anything. I took a picture from the back and it looks like it's bent to the left. I read this might be normal? But the rope was stuck and pulling from the right...20200609_141617.jpg

The strut should be offset to the rudder, but not bent. It should still be straight up and down.

This is to facilitate the removal of the shaft and also to account for prop rotation.
