    Default Misfiring after 2500 RPM

    OK need some help 04 340 HP misfiring after 2500 RPM checked the fuel pressure all day yesterday holding 64 PSI new cap and rotor plugs and wires have about 70 hrs on them anybody have any ideas? Thanks

    Did you check fuel pressure while it was running up to 2500 psi? Maybe it’s the fuel pressure regulator. Check filters and water separator as well.

    Yes left the gauge on the whole time stayed at 64 psi, it'll run fine for about a hour then starts misfiring. Where's the water separator located?

    If you have a water separator installed it would usually be located downstream of the fuel filter. Looks like an oil filter. It’s optional equipment so you might not have one.
