If you don't care about going over 25 mph, you will like the 15x12 prop, we do. It was a worthwhile investment, but I had the stock prop on 15x14.5 or something like that, it struggled with anything over stock ballast.

If you get a 15x12 with a good amount of cup it won’t take much away from the top end. The 2315 is a good candidate.

Thank you guys for the feedback. My fuel consumption is terrible currently so I figure it’ll pay for itself over the long term. Thanks again!

Yeah once you hit 4000rpms, it’s guzzling. My buddies Malibu does 4200 and it’s unbelievable how much gas it uses. The wedge make a great wave but the engine works it’s balls of against it and the bow rise is insane.

You have your boat set nice. 38 isn't that much slower than the DDs.

I’m going to call acme next week and see what they recommend, first I need to verify that I do indeed have the OJ945. I ordered the boat with it but haven’t actually verified yet.

I’ll report back what they recommend for my setup.

Today ran full 3500 stock ballast plus 3 crew (650#) plus 500# lead wake, plus full 65 gallon fuel load

    3600-3700 rpm surfing at 11mph.

The one thing that can really effect engine output is density altitude aka DA.

Your effective altitude can vary thousands of feet each day.
