both of my prior boats and current are running it.

OJ props aren't crappy, it just wasn't the right prop for your application.

    Pretty sure it's a 15x12 or 15x12.5.

respectfully disagree on this. there are a lot of documented cases on here on the older supra/moomba rides that were using oj props and getting a growl. I had it with the stock oj prop on my supra. it all went away with acme. dozens of members on here back in the late 00's had the same issue.

granted one could point back that it was not the right prop for the boat but interesting that it was across several boat hulls and all went away when they switched to acme.

I'll change my stance: oj was not the right choice for older skiers boats and left a bad taste that personally would not recommend them to anyone

That's your choice to not like them. I know Eric personally and he does a phenomenal job. Their designs have come a long way and they've been great on our Mojo and now SA. But to each their own. That's why there are different companies.

Okay, since I don't know spit about props...explain to me the difference between my 15.0x14.25 and a 15.0x12.0?

I was hoping I could bump up to a 16" prop but I guess the drive shaft angle is not enough to clear a bigger prop?

    Default Props

    Example: 15x12.5

15 in diameter prop and 12.5 pitch means one rotation theoretically will move the boat 12.5”

The lower the pitch the more low end grunt it will have but will reduce top speed.

Supras can take a 16” prop and your 550 has the torque to turn it. But I can’t recommend a prop pitch for you in a 16”

The 2020 Supra 400 and 450’s will run a 16x17 with the new 1.76 transmission

The recommended 550 wake prop is the one you got 15x14.25

However, others have said the prowake tour 550SA ran the 2775 15x12.5 and that boat was full ballast plus 6 crew plus 500# lead

Not all Supra boats can run a 16" prop. The 1.5-1 transmission tops out at 15". The newer 1.76-1 can run a 16". The 550 engine is still 1.5-1 at this time, so 15" is the biggest. I personally like the 15x13 props. Gives a good mix of low end and some decent cruising and wakeboard speed sand rpms.

Yep. I bet an OJ 945 would be perfect. That’s what I run on my Craz.

Not sure where you’re getting your information.

Have you measure the prop clearance on the Supra with 1.5:1 transmission? Mine has 1.5” of clearance with a 15” diameter prop.. 2020 didn’t change prop angles or even the shaft diameter. There’s no problem going to a 15.5 or 16” diameter prop. .5” of clearance is all you need.
