Port side not working
Guys,
By no means am I an audio guru so I come here seeking some advise and opinions.
First off ill explain my system.
I am running 4 exile xm9's on the tower powered by an exile sm 30.2amp. There is 4 cabin speakers xm65's that are running off a 5 channel rockford fosgate M600-5 channel amp that also runs a 10" RF sub.
I have a clarion M303 deck and a clarion MW1 wired remote installed.
I also have a wetsounds WS420sq and the exile BT module.
Everything was working as expected for a couple years until this past week. The port side of the boat stopped playing music out of the speakers but I could still hear the ground hum that I have.
I am thinking that maybe it has to do with the deck as there is still a fuzz coming from the speakers. It wouldnt be the amps to me as it would be a pretty big coincidence that both left channels went at the same time.
It seems that the M303 is discontinued.

Sounds like a bad RCA from the head unit to the right side of the amp(s). Try flipping the left and right RCA and see if that flips the problem. If it flips then it’s the RCA. If it doesn’t then it’s the signal out of the HU.

I’ll give that a try when I get up north in 2 weeks where the boat is.
