Pardon the crude photoshop....I don't have any tower folded shots, the garage will have a header height of 9ft and a tandem depth of 30 ft.
So why a 9' header and not 12' to have the tower up full time? Expensive to raise the walls and all?

A 12 foot door on a residential garage would look like ass in my opinion.

9 is perfect, 8 will work for anything other than an SE and 7 is building standard

Yeah, the 12' would ruin the modern asthetic we're going for cause it would look like we have an RV and we're lucky the HOA is allowing a 9ft.

We have a lot of new houses around here with a normal 2 car door and a 3rd tall RV stall. Makes me jealous, and doesn't look bad at all.

there's a lot of them around here in "modern" subs that have either 2+rv or one builder is only doing a 4car rv door.
that being said iirc RC is using toll, a semi custom builder. they do some modifications but trying to do a full on rv garage on a stock plan would be tough. here in vegas we couldn't get ANY production builder to extend the garage length by even an inch and full custom builders can't get access to any lots/land in a sub.
the only rv door houses we could afford are in a 55+ community(don't qualify). the rest are all starting in the mid500's and go up from there...

I was hoping to get a surf session behind the SL but it was gone for a while. We ended up leaving a while later in after some rain showers rolled through only to find my ballast relay module having a fit and had to pull the fuse to stop it from running on its own. Ended up just swimming for a while, cruising and then dropped the boat off at the dealer to fix the relay module issue. Still had a great time on the water despite the ballast issue and no SL ride lol. BTW love my Exile balls and had several people ask about them. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a traditional fender again.

I thought I saw that boat out on the lake! If you see a Black/Gray/Red Mondo, come say hi! We live on Lay Lake.

Got in some double surfing behind the Craz this weekend. It was tough because this is my weak side, but my cousins strong side. We went for a little bit though.
