2006 Moomba LSV surf wave not very long
We have a 2006 Moomba LSV produces a great wave on both regular foot and goofy foot but the problem is a sweet spot is only about 4 and 1/2 to 5 ft long how do we make that sweet spot longer and more to defined. We have ballasts in the back and in the center of the boat

i have an 07 lsv and i have a ballast bag under the bow seat (IBS) which helps. I also have a extra ballast bag, about 500 lbs that i just sit on top of the bow seat as well that helps keep the bow down and give a longer wave. Even with that i still think my wave is not very long. I tend to feel i am still riding pretty close to the back of the boat. The lsv was not made for surfing particularly but it does an ok job if you load it up and use a wedge.

Weight (as much as you can live with) upfront really helps, I add people to the front, in addition to the ballast (IBS and lead) while surfing, but then have them move to back when slowing down because you'll sink nose underwater.
