Remove the Center bracket from Swim Platform ?

I have a center bracket that is in the way of my "FAE" DIY and I noticed on other years and models 2 brackets are used ? I plan on using a L Iron bar to
hold up the "FAE" but everything would be much easier if I removed the middle bracket ??

I wouldn’t remove the bracket. It might put too much stress on the remaining 2 and stress crack the gel coat around them.
