    we do the same. Have a few long "no wake" stretches on our lakes.

    There was a lot of talk about this on the Malibu forum in regards to the raptor series engines. Apparently their dealers were telling them that Indmar was saying it is bad for these engines to idle a lot and that the needs to be driven hard most of the time. Not sure how true this all is as we idle ours a lot, we did get the O2 sensor lazy code once but it went away after a few hours. We routinely just idle around the lake enjoying adult beverages while looking at lake houses and day dreaming of owning one.

    Well if cruising slow and chilling is a cat killer so be it, cats and O2’s are easy to replace.
