400 raptor operating temp and diagnostic message
So i was out on my new Mondo yesterday. I wanted to see what everyone is getting for operating temp on the 400. My guage was reading about 167-172 and wondering if that is high or low. I know with my previous boat it didn't go above 150.
The reason i ask is, the engine compartment was warm to the touch (vinyl and top deck as well as the ski pylon). I got NO warnings other than
Open/Lazy EG04
SPN 3266 FMI 5
---- a couple of times yesterday. dealer said that wouldn't be an issue and may have been due to colder water. Boat ran great however.
Any thoughts on the message and temp for the Raptor? This is my first raptor coming from the GM powerplant in my previous boat.2019 Mondo

167-172f is still relatively low. Keep in mind this is a closed loop cooling system.

At rest mine will be right at 160, while in use, it’s usually at 171-172.

Yes multiple times. Mine had the CAT replaced twice.

Ditto here, 160-173 while on the water doing various things. That’s with an engine storage cover over top of the motor in the center hatch. Originally Posted by csm

That is normal in our 18' Max for temp. Ours threw a code yesterday that said Closed-loop gasoline bank 2 high. Dealer said its a CO2 sensor.

We putz around at 3-5mph a lot, curious if the cats and O2 gets loaded up and need a good pull once in awhile, have not thrown any codes yet.
