    Default Captains chair replacement and mounting

    Anyone ever replace the mounting plate for there captains chair ?? I bought a swivel and adjustable bse but wondering the best way to mount it to the floor . The interior was completely gutted over a year ago for redo including the floor . Can see the orignal holes for mounting the base for the seat sooooo need new mounting ?? Any advice guys would be great !!

    So i ended up getting a adjustable base from BassPro and took the old sliders , small piece of metal and made my own mounting plate for the sliders and factory seat . Came out pretty well however had to cut down the brad new base as well because even at the lowest height , was still pretty tall . So got out the saw and did some cutting . Turned out great !! Got it mounted tot he floor and its very sturdy

    Yes! Im doing the same thing. Love to see some pics of captains chair with a pedistal-thanks!

    Tagging this, Id love to do the same thing. I hate that my chair doesn’t swivel.
