06 Moomba swim platform bracket screw holes are shot

My swim platform brackets have loosened over time. The bottom screws have pulled right out, anyone have this problem and if so how you go about fixing it. I noticed that the back side of the brackets aren't accessible from inside the boat to bolt and gasket it up. Anyone fix this problem before

I have the exact same problem on my 06 Moomba Mobius LSV. I have taken off the swim platform and the top 3 bolts of the bracket are accessible, but the bottom 2 are not. It appears a metal plate has slipped and I can't line the holes up because the metal plate is not accessible. What did you end up doing?
