Yeah white for sure with the salt. My dad wants to sometimes cruise the sound. He lives on a 100ft cliff overlooking the tulalip bay. Yeah we are going with NW Inboards working with Zac. He's working on a custom cover now.

Just got the total for my build. So with tax shipping etc my build was right at $109k. We got it for right at $99k with a custom cover at cost. Just ran my card for the build slot.

Yep. I agree. I have stock ballast in my Craz, but added 300lbs of lead wake mainly to shift around when I have a small crew. My wave is sweet and have zero issues with it. Personally I think it is more about dialing in the autowake with the proper wake plate positions and pitch and roll. Fully understand those and get it dialed in first. After that, additional lead weight can be used to fine tune it.

Well dealer today had to make a change. Apparently the build slot was already slotted for a 400 and can't be changed to a 450. So I could either wait till fall for a 2020 or go with the 400. I asked him his honest opinion. Even gave the option of keeping my trade in all summer to wait for the 450. We boat at about 200-300 ft above sea level so altitude isn't an issue. We normally have a smaller crew. I don't wakeboard and won't ever wakeboard. It's all about cruising and surfing. He Def felt like I wouldn't be missing the 450 vs the 400 with our use of the boat. He had the option of charging me more and keeping my trade all summer so the hours don't change. He still felt it the right choice to choose the 400. They have a great reputation of being an outstanding dealer. He also owned a water sports company in FL for 7 years so I do trust his judgement. So we are going to go with the 400. I'll let everyone know how she does.

Man that is a bummer but it is tough to get things changed inside of 30 days before the build. When we did ours we were told we had to lock everything in before a certain date and it was right about 30 days out.
Did you demo the Makai with any lead or load?
