I grew up on Mead, learned to ski at 3 years old out there. What’s funny is when we’re flying in I still know where the beach was, and the foot of the hills that we would beach the boat up on and eat bologna sandwiches, drink Pepsi and swim (we were poor as dirt unplanned air force brats, but my dad wouldn’t give up the boat! Lol) It’s so sad to see what’s become of the lake. Lots of memories out there...
I’ll hook up with ya one day! Seems like every time we go to Vegas we end up having to leave the next day for some reason or another.

Yeah flying in and out of Vegas, it's sad to see how low the lake keeps getting.

Wakeskating behind a sparkly green Moomba Max among some interesting moored boats...and a seagull!

    Ready, set...Moomba!!

Not the best quality video, we will get a better one soon, but it is sometimes cool to have a sea plane landing behind you when wakeboarding

going up quite a bit this year due to colorado snowpack but it's nowhere near what it needs to be close to full pool.
I don't think it'll ever be there again as the more snow runoff we have the less people downstream seem to care about conserving water.

the water rights off the colorado river were sold at a time when the river was in a very wet water pattern that has not been replicated since the early 1900's.

happy day today. closed on the new digs and no more leaving the boat outside....
good to have a garage to work in again. few months before we officially move as we have to satisfy our lease on the rental but will be starting to move stuffs up over the next months once the old owners finish moving their vehicles and the last few garage bits out.....
went from this baking in the desert sun:

to tucked away in the garage. and no removing swimdeck which is awesome...

Well, wife tugged the boat all the way to the lake to find out the carb is leaking profusely and it won’t fire. Cranks over no problem but won’t fire. I’ve hit my limit of diagnosing over FaceTime so it will be parked until I get home sometime mid month. But, she says the prop guard casters work great for getting into the driveway now!
