Thread high-jack. Love the ladder, my buddy has one on his X30. I think that could be an option on MCs.

right Because FB is terrible. I quit social media a few years ago. Just wish all the spam would go away. Why is the ladder a issue or thing? Isn't it just easier to fill ballast until the deck is submerged?

Some folks have older family members that struggle to get on the swim platform in open water.

Whether or not the platform is submerged is irrelevant, generally the older family members need a few rungs to step up from.

David is pretty accommodating. I must be a dick for not inviting old people out

I would much prefer someone using a ladder than either whacking there leg or using the surf plates or surf pipe as a step.

Agree with that. I start to get nervous when anyone starts climbing around back there.

Feel bad watching the older folks struggle to get back on. Try to help but I do not want to embarrass them.

Had some of my sons friends on the boat today and I worry about them getting cut on the plates and pipe.

They all pop onto the swim platform like seals onto a rock.

I installed a ladder on the Max for the in-laws. They struggle and even had someone slice their knee in the surf tabs while struggling to get on the platform.

I used 1 1/4 inch stainless screws and 5200. Hope it holds and does not mess up my surf wave.

Looks good. The 5200 is a good idea, wish I would have thought of that!
