I’ve got the same problem. For me it’s just easier to buy a new gauge that comes with a transducer. I couldn’t find one that works with with the stock one. I do know they sometimes typically muff up with the adhesion to the hull. If you have any air bubbles in the silicone contact it will error out or read weird. Or your putting it over a stringer, in which case move it side to side.
Psssh my lake averages 1000 feet, mine errors out because it’s just to deep....
