    Default Wakesurf Boards

I've been surfing with friends and family since 2016 on a 2008 Mobius LSV and we have a Hyper-Lite Brian Grubb (hybrid-type) and a Phase 5 Diamond CL54 (skim-type), what can anyone recommend for a surf-type board for mostly male riders? Also, any other boards regardless of type that are "must haves"?

I'd tell ya to get a soulcraft. I have 3 and love them but you will get as many opinions as posts in this thread. see if you can find someone local that has a couple to try out. ronix makes a decent entry surf style and if you are sharing with others might be a little cheaper pill to swallow to let others thrash on it. I liked the koal I had. left it with a guy in wisconsin when I moved and bet they are still riding it today.

    good luck.

My favorite surf style board is the Phase 5 Aku. So fast and super agile. It was superseded by the Ahi, nut every now and then you will see a used one for sale. Second favorite surf style is the Inland Surfer James Walker Pro, again fast and agile but not as fast as the Aku.

heard good things about chaos but no real world experience.

best thing I ever did to my soulcraft I ride most of the time are fins. whatever board you buy, pony up for a set of f4 blakstiks. they made a night and day difference in the speed and feel of the board. spendy but well worth the price imo.....

Lots. Excellent boards. Have owned 5 of them (I think). Currently have 3.

Second the fins comment. I have found some templates more pleasing than the BlackStix F4 for sure, but those are also solid. Chaos also makes a fin template that is stellar as well.
