    Default Craz Setup

Hey all. Those of you with a Craz, I've got Wakemakers 1200's going in rear lockers, 500 hard tank midship and 700 in bow. I've got 500 lbs of lead (50 lb bags) that I'm going to be putting in as well. Where would this be best? Midship?

If you put it under your bow seat cushion you will find that AutoWake won't dump your rear bags to help you achieve correct pitch.

All 500lbs will fit under the cushion and you won't even know it's there.

If you have 2400lbs in rear and 700 in front, it can't add anymore weight in the bow to lower pitch, as a result, it would try to drain your rears to get bow down...make sense?

It does make sense. My plan was to run everything full with Autowake off. Thoughts?

If you aren't intending on using AutoWake I'd still put 250-300 under the bow and the other 200-250 midship or surf side and see which throws the best.

We generally have a small crew so we manually fill everything 100%, then turn on AutoWake to achieve static presets and see if we are in the general vicinity of pitch & roll. Most of the time we just leave it on but sometimes we use without.

I have Enzo's and 500lbs of lead....I may snag another 200lbs when I pick up my PWT tickets from my dealer

Thats very helpful. Thank you. Would you happen to have any pics of your wave with your current setup?

Believe the hard tank is 700 and the bow bag is 500 in the Craz. Same total weight as what you counted but might change the way you want to distribute your lead weight...

    Default Craz Setup

I don't use autowake for surfing and have liked the wave. Stock 2019 Craz (900s rear) with 500# of lead and I use 2 bags (100# up front) and 400# rear, evenly distributed. 85% front ballast, 100% surf side, and 85-90% non surf side. Surfing regular, 10.8 and WP 0-15. With a crew of 6 on Monday, wave was killer and I surfed back to 30-32' with plenty of push on a HL Time Machine
