A bit OT but is it still possible to use the cover with the tower folded?

The cover does a good job of keeping water out and does not pool with a front support pole (I added) and straps.

Hey surgical,
I swung by my dealer to drop off some leftover old boat items and measured the folded tower height while I was there. It measured 9' 5 1/2" to the top of the board racks with the trailer jack at a level position. You could maybe get it lower by jacking the trailer down or using a drop hitch. Removing the racks looks like it would be close to 9'.
For anyone wondering height with tower raised was around 11' but it was kind of hard to measure without crawling all on the side of the dealers boat.

I think they just copied the specs and page from the 2018 owner's manual which that year the Max came with an A2 tower. From what I understand on dealer videos I've seen is that the A3 is a little taller. Not sure on that but if so that would make sense. Removing the racks still looks like you're 9' or so. I pushed down on the tower until the bimini arm came within about an inch to touching the arm rest. I wasn't sure if there were tower stops or what but didn't want to damage the arm rest so I stopped pushing lol. I don't think it would make much difference in height even if I made it touch the arm rest. I don't know about the 98" but perhaps they also meant with the jack all the way down? I'm just going to spec for a 12' high carport or canopy cover to be safe, that way I can just leave the tower up all the time.

This may be a double post. I tried to post friday, but it hasnt come through yet. Did the trailer you measured off of have the upgraded 18" rims or just the standard 15" ones? I've got 106.5" of clearance with the garage door. I will probably not have board racks in the beginning but it is possible I will add them later. I dont mind lowering a jack but I dont want to let the air out of the tires every time. It's looking like we may be leaning toward the Craz now due to the height. I really appreciate you stopping by and measuring it youve been a great help haknslash!

This trailer was standard 15" wheels. Glad to help!
