Damn that thing just looks like a monster from that angle. Could park my old tub next to it and it and the gunwale peaks at about the grab bar. LOL
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

I always think the same when I see it from the back side... she’s deep!

Just wrapping up our trip to Havasu, nothing but a great experience - temps stayed in the mid-80’s pretty much all week.

Again, I know it’s not surf related, but I had a blast night offshore fishing with a couple buddies from work. One of em bought a new Tidewater 280, twin 250’s, and we ran it hard yesterday.
Pulled up some monster red snapper.

Oh and a PSA for all the southerners, some people think rattlers can’t swim. They can, and do.

Looks like an amazing time. A buddy just got a Jupiter 38 HFS and I’m dying to get out on it.

Do you know what the allure of center consoles is? Other than that they’re just go-fast fishing boats lol. He sold a 44’ Luhrs for about the same price as the center console and they’re both sick boats but seems like the Luhrs (and boats like it) have a ton more cabin space and protected cockpit areas out of the elements.

Here’s some pics from dolphin season, took my Dad down the Keys for father’s day.

    broke,
that rattler swimming is EXACTLY why I never made the tow to put the boat in anderson ranch reservoir above boise. it's loaded with rattlers around the banks due to the blm land around it and spring/summer it's open season on swimmers...

Matt, no idea the allure. I’m with you. When you’re talking being 30-100 miles out, id like to have a cabin, or more protected helm too. You’re out there traveling for hours one way to fish.
However, the smaller CC’s are more manueverable when you’re on the spot.
