A "Jamboree" in North Carolina?
Hey gang. As much as I would love to attend this famous Jamboree, I am not crazy about the idea of towing my boat the 650 miles to get there. However, per the article in the latest Moomba Maniacs, I am asking for a show of hands from the boat owners in and around North Carolina that would be interested in having our own Owner Reunion. I have seen several Moombas and Supras around and I have only been to Falls, Jordan, and Kerr Lakes, so finding at least 20 shouldn't be a problem. Let me know if you are interested!
Thanks,
Brian Roberts

One is had on Lake Norman. The fine folks at Westport Marina in Denver, N.C., which is where I purchased me beautiful 2004 Outback, can give you the details of who, what, when, where, and how (I think we all know why, lol).
You can put in @ Corneilius off of I-77 and putt right on over.
.
However, if you're trying to get another one together I'd be interested in attending. I think they have theirs in the fall.
.
Hope this helps

Good looking out Butta! No sense in trying to put together an event when someone already has! I just taked to Chad at Westport and he is shooting for sometime in June to have the reunion. I am sure he will let everyone know when the date is set, and I will try to drag some more folks from the Triangle and Triad down to Norman for the weekend.

Ed,
.
I think it is under the control of Westport, which is the local dealer. Although I do not know how much SC is involved
.
btw, NCSU, Chad was my salesman and a straight up dood, if'n ya ax me. He'll tell ya I bugged him for a whole year before I bought my Outback. I finally caught up with him at the Fall Boat show (2004). He gave me a deal (which is his last name also) I couldn't pass up.

Hey gang! I got an email from Chad at Westport Marina about their Owners Reunion. Here is the text:
I have all the info regarding our Supra/Moomba owners reunion. July the 15th on lake Wylie NC/ SC right off I-77 if you haven’t been there. Wy;ie is a great boarding lake with many bridges and nice coves unlike lake Norman. I have the Tega Cay beach club rented for the day!.I’m excited about this years event. Chad

Have to check and finalize my summer schedule, but if all looks well, I'll partake. Haven't been down to Wylie yet and this would be the perfect time. Tentatively count in an '06 Outback.
