Audio system install
Hey everyone! I am about to start my audio install in my 06 Outback V but I have a few questions first. 1st, are ony of you using an EQ and ifso were do you have oy mounted? 2nd, where did you ground your amp at. I was thinking of the tower foot on the inside of the hull but didnt know. Just throwing that out there b/c it is the closest metal to the battery area. All info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys.

You want to use the common ground point, or the battery's neg terminal for grounding in boats.
In a car, all the large metal is connected, and all is a common point of ground, since the entire frame/body of the car is metal. In boats - it is all fiberglass, and that is an excellent INSULATOR, not CONDUCTOR, so you can't just chose some random place with metal, it will never work.

I did that last winter. Search here, on wakesiderides, and wakeworld. Some guys have posted diagrams on wakesiderides. There is a lot of good info, take a look around. Good luck.
