Transom remote

I want to install a stereo transom remote by myself, I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has done that and can offer some advice or talk about what worked for them. I'm also curious on where people put the remote. I can get the Kenwood marine remote for my deck and I know how to wire it...just looking for a good place to put it. I have a 2005 Moomba Outback.

I have the same boat and mine came with the transome remote. It's mounted on the rear right a little below the rub rail. It's really close to the tie down loop, maybe and inch to the right of it and an inch above it.

Same plans here with an 2007 lsv. Ordered the original kenwood remotes because i like them more than the standard remotes.

Can anyone send me some pics where the orignal transomremote is located om the 2007 lsv?

Look at the 2007 boats above, pick the XLV GG edition. Look at the 3rd picture on the bottom row. That is where the factory puts it.

It is in the 2006 brochure as well - but closeup so kinda useless.
