Wakesurf board vs. Traditional long board
I have a friend who grew up surfing in California and is now looking to convert to wakesurfing. He was wondering what the differences between boards are and if one could use a long board to wakesurf. Any information (tips) would be appreciated.

Wakesurf boards
I think the wake surf boards are by design, faster and more maneuverable behind a boat wake. You could do it with a long board, but I think it would get boring pretty quick. If you are going to do it regularly, I would invest in a good board from Inland Surfer or Shred Stixx.
