Extra Ballast
Hi All:
Has anyone tried extra ballast in their LSV for a larger wake?. I have a 2004 Mobius LSV and am using the factory ballast. I am thinking about putting more ballast on the corner seat, but was wondering if this works or if anyone has tried it. When I load the boat up with people it works. Also Can I sink the boat too low. Are there anydangers to watch for?. Unless I'm mistaken the air intake for the motor is up front.
Merry X-mas
Rick
PS. Wish it was warmer in Christina Lake BC, would love to surf in winter.

take a look at pop-products.com
these are very neat because weight can be moved around as needed.

You can add more Ballast forsure. just watch the weight restrictions and remember if you add ballast and fill the boat with people too you have to compensate. I have seen some pics of people that swamp their boats and ones riding really low. The big thing is to remember aded weight using water ballast because if you get swamped water will eqalize where as if you use weight the only place for it to go...is down!
Hope that helps.
