We ought to have people enter the hull number of their boat during the registration step. I'm sure a database can be whipped together and then referenced for validity on Moomba and Supra boats.

Besides the obvious huge overhead of more work for SCM, DMX, etc.
That removes anyone looking for information before they purchase as a user.

Actually, they could still let guests visit and browse. Mebe e-mail a confirmation number back to them after registration or something. I'm not opposed to non boat owners as members.

Heck, I didn't become a member until AFTER I purchased me '04.
.
But, on the bright side, it's more convienent to get scripts and look up porn while trying to find out information.
