2007 lsv speaker, light bar replacement

I have a 2007 Moomba LSV. Thinking about replacing the speaker/light bar that is mounted on the tower with 2 speakers that I will attach more toward th side of the tower. Has anyone done this? Think it will give it a more updated look, and will keep me from bumping my head into the speakers.

I don't have a light bar on my tower, but 4 exile speakers. I have never been a huge fan of the light bars but to each his own. The speakers do take up some room and it is easy to bump your head. Doh!
