2015 Mondo ballast upgrade
I’m considering replacing the stock surf edition rear ballast bags with a pair of 910 lb bags from Wakemakers (+500 lbs). Can anyone with a similar setup chime in on how much this might improve the surf wake?

Yes, you need it. Get the 1140s, they won't fill completely but the bigger the better.

PM me. I upgraded to Enzo's and have two 1100 lb Fat sacs that have 1 season use. They are perfect otherwise. I'll sell them for far less than what u would pay for the 910's. If you are interested I'll put em up on e-bay and you can buy them from there so there is the assurance you purchase from a site that does e-commerce. We can agree on a price and I'll list them for that.
I would prefer to sell them as a pair. You would still need to get the quick connect plugs. I am only selling the bags and 2 drain plugs.2020 Supra SL 400

My 2017 Mondo has the 500 IBS...it pops seats and cup holders when full...so not sure that the 750 will get you much more weight.
I run 2x1140s that maybe fill up with 1000. I kept one of the 650s for the floor with a Tsunami Pump for days when we have less people on the boat.
When getting the bigger sacs...make sure you get the engine panel re-enforcements!2022 SA450

I have a 15 Mondo.
900 rears
750ibs
250 piggy backed under port seat.
Made a huge difference. Especially once i added the 250.
That being said, the best upgrade was from the 1.0 auto flow blades to the 2.0 blades. Instant push with those bad boys

Another set of 1140s are available. They were new as the 2018 season began. Only put about 35 hours on the boat this season, and 10 of those were after I upgraded to the exact fit bags. The 1140s were filled maybe 5-8x.

Brett-wow, great idea. I didn’t realize you could swap the autoflow blades for the 2.0 version on the 2015. How much did this upgrade cost you?

The local dealer said the 1100s put too much pressure on the engine compartment sides (even with reinforcements)and fill <1000 due to the space constraints. They recommended putting a few 50 lb lead bags on each side under the 750 or 910 rear bags so as not to bow out the panels. Anyone try something like this?
