    Default The all elusive 360.

Well ever since Feb. 2015 I’ve been trying to land the all elusive 360. Well Saturday first try of the day stuck it like a 280lb version of Parker Payne. It felt so easy I didn’t know why it took me so long. Of course it wasn’t on video so it obviously didn’t count. Everyone on the boat almost missed it cause my daughter saw a butterfly and they were all marveling that the butterfly was going 10mph. They eventual caught the tail end of it and the beginning of my school girl at a Taylor Swift concert celebration.

Of course I couldn’t land another one even though my wife said if I can do another we can trade her in for a Makai plus a congratulatory BJ when we got home. But of course no more 360 & no congratulatory BJ. But I finally did it, I can finally die happy.

Love it! With all that on the line I don’t think I would have gotten out of the water until I did it again

If you're struggling with any trick video tape the whole set, then go back and review what went right and or wrong with each one. Randomly trying different ways only makes it harder you need to break it down from beginning to end.

Also, I find it easier if you mellow out the wave, a long shallow wave is much easier. If your ridding a really steep wave its easy to catch the edge when coming down and around.

Can you ride healside? If you can there's lots of 180s that are just as fun..

Sorry about the no BJ thing, that’s easily the most disappointing thing about this post.

This is what I think happens to me. I come around and nose dive into the water.

Then you have to much weight on your front foot, try moving your foot back a few inches.

    +1 on video review
In addition to doing some “game film” review, I found this how to video by Conner Burns very helpful because he breaks down why some of his friends attempts fail. (He also promotes his new board but I still thank him for the video!):

I’m just a 47 year old dad trying to land it before my 19 & 16 yo do...I’m on the verge of landing it. I will edit a video down and post soon.
