    Default OZ tower swivel screw

    Hi everyone,

I notice today that one on the screw a the swivel point of my oz tower was almost completely unscrewed... I didn't have any tools with me except a small screwdriver.... I couldn't screw it back in place. Has anyone had any issues with that? Can I just screw it back in place with a big screwdriver? Do I need to lower the tower first? Or find a way to remove some of the weight on the tower first?

    Thanks image.jpg

Yes you can just screw it back in with a large screw driver. You will need someone to push up on the tower to relieve the tension and then screw it. Mine backed out twice so I used some lock-tite (non permanent type) and it has stayed in place ever since.

Well mine has done the same thing. Does this screw have threads on both ends or just one end?

I don't Know...but I screwed it back in with a big screw driver....I'll just have to watch once in white to make sure it doesn't unscrew again

Ours almost came out when we first bought it.
Used Loctite 222 on thread and screwed it back in with a little help from someone pressing up on the middle of the tower.
Used a big flatblade screwdriver, seems OK so far.
