Clearing Fault Codes from the Memory
Hi everyone, I just changed my oils and before I filled it up again with oil I turned on the ignition but did not start the engine. The computer registered a fault code; low engine oil. Once I refilled the oil the fault code went away but is now stored in the memory. Any idea how to erase the code from the memory on my end without a code reader? I do have a OBDC 2 reader at my other house. Is that compatible if I need to use one?
Thanks

Boats do not run OBD II, as well as they use a proprietary connector, so your automotive scanners will not work. You will need the proper cable and a MEFI program.
