Everyone knows these are 100k optioned out, right? They are basically the same trim level as the used Supras of yesteryear.

They would have to be at least $100k optioned out. I see a lot of new options that would add up quickly. I.E. Wetsounds, touchscreens, engine tray covers, 440 engine. I am sorry, I don’t give a crap what anyone says, I would not have a 400 in this boat. In fact, I would go with the 575. When I Wakeboard fully loaded in My Craz, it is all that 400 wants. It never struggles surfing, but I have had it struggle with 12 people, 3,200 lbs of ballast, coolers, etc... big boat = big motor for this guy!

I come from the world of SE450. I know the limits of a 440/1.5 combo--for me it is full 83 gallons, full 5300# ballast and lead, and 4 adult males. Beyond that, we have to make cuts somewhere. BUT, the wave is insane if you can toe that line.

I think the new 460 motor and the 1.76 tranny rewrites this narrative a little bit--you can avoid the 575 upcharge and still get more grunt than the 440/1.5 was capable of. Early reports are that this combo is very impressive. I think for a Makai its ideal...? Potentially.
