The name... I don’t wanna say you’re right or not. Lol it’s definitely not what I thought it’d be. Lol
I liked Magnum that someone suggested a while back. That cracked me up. The new name is kinda different. I dig it.

My expectations are more along the lines of a budget performance machine. I would like to see a no frills boat without all the added tech, subfloor ballast, lots of room and storage, and a clean wakeboard wake for beginners to advanced. And closer to 50k vs 100k. Really I'm drawn toward the helix and max, but all the new expensive boats are cool to look at.

Yeah, like I said in another post, it is too bad it takes an old man to buy a boat for a young mans sport. By the time you have enough money to buy a sweet wake boat you are too old to Wakeboard. I wanted to buy another Supra, but by the time I got all he upgrades and added PTM clamps, my Craz was about $90k out the door. Never thought I would spend almost $100k on a boat I couldn’t sleep on. I would almost guarantee that if you fully load the 19, it will be $100k after tax title and license.

2019 Moomba Teaser Video
At least they make the max and helix. If you want a nicer boat, it’s gonna cost. I don’t quite get the mentality of spite toward a manufacturer who makes increasingly nicer expensive stuff. People seem to be mad at Moomba for getting more expensive.....strikes me as odd. If they’re selling, that’s where the company is heading. It’s a business!

I am not spiteful at all. I get it, it is a business and don’t blame them at all. I love their product or I wouldn’t have bought it. It is just hard to come to grips with the price of boats in general. All I am saying is you are in your prime for wakebaording in your twenties. Unless you have rich parents, you aren’t buying a $100k boat. Sorry, I am a little bitter at the moment as I have a brand new boat and I am sidelined with my first major injury to my back. I just hope I can get back on the board before summer is over. Sucks to get old.

You can for sure get a damn good older boat and fat sacs to make a helluva wakeboard wake on a budget. The expensive stuff is the surfing stuff, which lends itself to an older less physical crowd. Like me 🤣
Hope your back heals fast! Getting old is a joy.
