1998 Moomba Outback "Clicking issue" Please Help!!
Anyone please help! I'm completely stumped on this!
1)I have replaced the starter/solenoid (Checked all connections)
2)Replaced the ignition switch
3)Replaced the battery and cleaned all terminals and connections
4)Checked the 10amp relay (with tester) showing voltage going to the relay
5)I'm getting 12/14 volts at the starter
6)I can jump the starter and solenoid and the motor will want to turn over.
7)I even checked the 50 amp fuse on the back of the motor.
made sure the shifter was in neutral and even bypass the saftey neutral switch on the back of the motor by the transmission
Still the same issue!! I gotta be missing something small here. Please help!!

Maybe the key ignition switch? Try “hotwiring” it.

#5 - At what terminal(s)? The main cable or the solenoid terminal when in crank? or both?

Odds of a new starter being defective or slim. Sounds like a bad cable or terminal end.

check power to the large cable on the starter when someone turns the key. If you still have 14 volts on this cable and motor does not turn over make sure the motor is free (doesn't sound right)
