I didn’t have good luck my my anchor buddy, the elastic snapped within a few weeks. If you read the instructions I’m pretty sure you’ll see it says to use it with a solid line as well, which in my opinion defeated the benefit of it. I’ve went back to my tried and true standard anchor line I’ve used for 20+ years without issue. Gimmicky if you ask me.

I had one where the rope of the anchor buddy didn't snap, but the elastic did rendering it just another rope without the bungee functionality. :-/ Bought another one though and it's been fine.

I use the anchor buddy when we’re on the river. It’s a narrow waterway with loaded down boats going by so the bungee helps mitigate the roller effect constantly pulling on the anchor.
