Improving surf tabs or ballast?
I have a 2015 Moomba Mojo that has 1100lb rears, 750lb center, and 750lb front bags. The wave is pretty good, but I'd like to improve it. Which is the better option 1. I have the smaller surf tabs, so I could upgrade to the larger surf plates or 2. buy 700lb of lead ballast for the rear lockers?

From what I have seen, everyone seems to agree that more displacement seems to make the bigger/better waves. Surf tabs just tweak them. I would think lead.

Is the there a way you can invite 3 extra people on the boat on top of your normal crew to see if the extra 700 lbs is going to make a difference? If so, try that first. Then decide on the lead. Upgrading the to the larger surf tabs will help clean the wave up, but nothing is going to make is bigger, except more weight.
