Got a pro lesson for the wife and daughter yesterday, and a buddy visiting from out of town got a go as well. All 3 got up. They won't listen to my coaching, so a pro was necessary.

I was shocked at the size and push of these waves with half water ballast (wife) and zero water ballast (daughter).

The instructor was saying that the Mondo has the best wave of the Moombas - he's had a Mondo, LSV, Craz, and Mojo for his school, and the 2014 Mondo is the only one of those he still has. I'm not sure I believe that, but I am really happy with the wave this thing makes.

Were you able to check what time it is right before you let go of the rope?

No lol When you watch it real time it’s such a fast violent hit felt like I dislocated my shoulder on that one. First time riding a true skim board felt like gliding on ice

Ive had some pretty bad wakesurf falls that near wakeboarding levels. It's surprising how bad they can be.. Lol

I must be doing it wrong. I have never seen a bad crash.

Try some spins or a drifter, or just ride revert..If you really want some pain try shuvits, having the board go into my crotch has successfully stopped those..

Worst one was when the board came up and split my fore head open that was on bshares boat a few years ago now when I fall I try to cover my head

Getting hit by the bird is the only free pass I give out. The rest of the claims are on par with flamboyant soccer fouls.

Yep I do the same until the board comes up..

Meh.. Depends on ability, once you get bored of going up and down the wave and progress to tricks you'll change your mind. Hitting your head 10 times wakesurfing is equal to one wakeboard edge head smack. My neck and top of my head take the brunt of falls.
