Steering wheel question

I noticed that the steering wheel on my 2007 LSV has a little play in it. If you are sitting in the drivers seat and push left hand toward the bow, and pull right hand toward stern, there is a little play. The play isn't in the actual steering cable, more forward and back if that makes sense. There is a nut on the steering wheel and I tried tighten it, and it wouldn't tighten any more. Any thoughts if there is any way to tighten or a little play is normal?

Yes. I think if you take the middle logo out of the steering wheel, there is a nut to tighten.

Also I would look under the dash, you will see the steering rack and check all the bolts there as well.
