water pump wobble
I have a 2003 outback LS. Just pulled it out of the water and did the first oil change.(engine and trans) everthing went smoothly except when i was warming the engine up to check the trans level i noticed a small amount of "wobble" in the water pump. Is this normal or should it sit perfectly steady?

Wobble in pump
The pump will have some wobble to it, this is common with the Johnson pump on the Indmar motors and will not be an issue. If it is wobbling to much, and you feel it will have long term effects, tell the dealer, and have it looked at during your next service.Brian Raymond
