    Default Oil change

Hey guys, I'm going to change my oil on my 2008 moomba 5.7 assault engine. I've been using the shell rotella 15w40 but then I started thinking about if I should use synthetic or conventional, and what are the differences in T4,T5, and T6 rotella Oil?

    Thanks

T4 is conventional, T5 is synthetic blend and T6 is full synthetic. I've been using Rotella T6 for several years. All meet the specs for the 5.7.

I've been using t4 since I got the boat 250 hours or so ago. What're the added benefits of switching to a blend or full? I'm still going to change it every 50 hours regardless of full or blended oil.

Changing oil on a regular basis is by far the most important thing for maintaining engine life. There are benefits to synthetic over conventional but I switched to full synthetic to extend my oil changes to 1 per season because my season would normally end at 60 to 70 hours. T6 is very popular with motorcycle guys. I use it in my Sea Doo and it's always available at my local Wal-Mart.
