Swim platform
How much play is normal on the swim platform? When sitting in the water, if a wave hits the boat and pushes up the platform moves up maybe a 1/4 inch.

I put composite door shims in mine helps a lot once you tighten up the set screws it stays tight

Other people put a stainless lock washer down in the crack. You can get it out with a needle nose pliers if you need to.
