Default Transmission and V drive fluid change

    Stupid question.

I have an extraction pump i used to change oil in my cars, jet ski and moomba.

Can i use the same extraction pump for the Vdrive and Transmission? Just wondering if the tiny bit of oil at the tip of the hose will contaminate anything?

I"m assuming it's ok to use the same pump on the V drive and transmission?

I don't have much mechanical skill or knowledge, pretty much oil change is all i do.

    Thanks!

Wipe it off. I use my pump for everything.

I rinse the hose with brake cleaner, it dries in minutes

Same here. Use mine for all boat fluids, lawn mowers, golf carts, etc.

Yes. After each change would make sure to drain tube with gravity. Sticking tube in one of the high holes in a garage door track was just about ideal.
