The boat has never been powerloaded it popped as I was pulling it out of the water.

IMO, all this is BS. SC or dealer should correct this on a 1 yr old boat. I would not stop bitcin if it were me and i doubt any of you would either. I take pride in my stuff as all of you do. Dealer or SC should step up and correct this. Its the right thing to do. I would expect it to be covered under SC warranty or dealer respectability. Its a year old. Cmon man!

They probably will fix it. I was just wanting to know if I should ask them to or of it was no big deal.

Maybe, maybe not a big deal. Bottom line, its a new boat. Have them make the proper repair. We’ll all feel better. Its a great boat and it should look like one.

Take it to your dealer and explain what mentioned. The bow eye is a stout point on your boat used for many purposes that that would put more strain than holding the boat on the trailer. GL.

I missed the year in the post. For a 2017, work with the dealer. I assumed It was older.

You serious? I've seen people crank the crap out of them or try and pull the boat onto the trailer via cranking. What do you think causes the crack there? Lol

It's either cracked from impact, the dock or the trailer or pulled. Hopefully they'll cover it, but I wouldn't..

Well, you should be able to lift the whole boat with the 3 eyes without cracking the gel coat. I really don't see how cranking it down tight would cause a gel coat crack. Then again, my strap is not made of titanium and my handle is only about 10" long. Half the time I use the crank I am sitting in the bow of the boat and can barely get leverage to crank it.

Ya I dont think it would crack with the factory winch. Especially how I use it. I think it had a problem from the factory.
