Default Removing carpet panels in rear lockers

Has anyone removed carpeted panels in rear lockers so upgraded bags full completely? The ones right above the bags.

Yes. Pulled them out of my 2010 OBV and my 2014 LSV. I put the screws back in the fiberglass to cover the holes.

You're talking about the carpeted panels right above the bags on the back side of the seats right? Did it allow your ballast to fully inflate?

oh, that panel haha. Yes, i took my off, removed the carpet and cut it to the same size as the fiberglass (so it doesn't hang down lower than the fiberglass) and then put the carpet back on it. I don't think it kept the bag from filling completely but i didn't see what the purpose was of it hanging down.
