Default Tips on removing fittings from FatSac Bag

Anyone have any advice on removing fittings from a stock Fat Sac rear 650# bag? I'm trying to remove the fittings to put new ones in to use with a Tsunami pump. I upgraded to 1140s today and want to reuse the stocks in the boat with a pump as needed.
Had a hairdryer on one for 15 minuted now and it won't budge. I don't know how aggressive I need to be or whether I'm suppose to twist it out or press it out sideways like in the WakeMaker video. My go at it isn't nearly as simple as the video makes it look like.

Make sure the material is plyabke around the fitting with heat then one foot as tight to the fitting as you can then push over with the other , it does take some force but it will come out. First one is always s the hardest cuz you don’t know how hard to push .

I did about 10 of these by the Wm video

Thanks, I appreciate that. That makes me feel better because I wasn't sure I was doing it right. I just got the first one out but crap it took 20 minutes of heating it up! I swear my wife is gonna kill me because I'm probably gonna blow up her expensive arse salon hairdryer before this is done. I've got 3 more to go!!

Did you leave the dryer in one spot for an extended time or hold it and move it around the entire black ring to loosen it up? I ended leaving it on one spot for almost 15 minutes, then I was able to break one side lose but the other side was still completely glued down. I had to leave it almost 10 more minutes on that side.

I would also suggest NOT to use a heat gun... Ask me how I know...

As of this afternoon I have all the fittings removed minus the one that decided to remove itself entirely but that's another story. I will say, it IS NOT as easy as the WM video makes it out to be but it can be done.

How big of a pierce of material do you need .

I have a section of a sumo sack WM warranted but I had to destroy it and send them a pic of the it so I kept some spare material

I probably need a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece and a 4" x 4" piece, give or take a little. That would let me do an inside patch and and outside patch with a little overage to cover the hole and have room to make a good bond. If you have enough material, I would be really grateful.
