6 hours so far, trying to break it in right. Kinda embarrassing to have no boards in the water.

It’ll be worth it... trust me. The SA is a monster.

Tried a quick auto wake swell surf factory setting today and that wave looks clean.

I am a horsepower junkie and been into GM LS powered for years. It took some convincing to shop a boat with a blue oval engine, but I think I will be ok, lol

Had boats and jet skis years ago and missed the water.

After MUCH research, I pulled the trigger on a 2018 Supra SA. Build date is in June and hope to have it in July.

Just wanted to say Hi and I look forward to learning a lot here.

1st question... where are all the engine and power upgrades for the 6.2L? Or is modding engines not a wake boat thing?

Call it a bad habit, but i can’t help but want to install a cam (cams in this case), ported heads etc.....

Just ran across this thread! My LSV is pre LS, although figured you may be able to offer some advice on L31 modifications. I could care less about HP, more interested in low-end torque. In reality a Turbo Diesel offering would be best power plant for a surf machine.

Default Newb member introduction ordered a Supra SA.

The L31 5.7L is fairly torquey at 330 ft lbs at 2800 rpm, short of increasing the stroke of the engine to increase torque, I am sure that a torque specific camshaft could be spec’d to increase torque.

    Or

    Throw a supercharger on it!!!!

I currently have a 2010 Cadillac CTSV with a built LSA 6.2l. Nothing makes torque like a supercharger.

Car is a 6 speed manual with making 700 hp and 680 ftlbs at the wheels (appx 800hp/775tq at the crank....stock was 560/551)

Look into the Ramjet cam for L31 5.7, will increase torque from idle to 4200 rpm

After some further research, it appears that the L31 marine engine already uses the ramjet 14097395 camshaft. That is a torquey cam.
