Heartbreak of the century
So, went out with bro in law yesterday to make sure his 2015 mb tomcat was ready for the season... blew oil and water all over the engine compartment...back story, he uses a heater instead of winterizing against my advice for years!!! Moral... don't trust heaters!

Is this in Texas? How many freezing temps did you guys see this winter? Sorry to hear that, really really unfortunate.

It snowed 3 times here in Houston this winter... wasn’t much better up in north Texas this year. This is one of he worst winters I’ve seen in a while. First one that really made me sweat worrying about the boat!

What broke said. It appears a lot of people have suffered freeze damage around the Houston area this year. We had to repair our sprinkler system due to it freezing and busting and I live in the first suburb west of Houston. I work on drill ship in the gulf and around the first week of January we had ice on the deck.

Uuugh drained about 10 gallons of oily water out of the motor. Pulled a spark plug and they are flooded as well. Not looking good.

Engine is toast. Man...not worth the risk not winterizing.
