05 LSV gravity III upgrade problems...

I can't get the 90 degree street tee off the intake scrupper. I have the scrupper loose and ready to drop out but can't until the thru hull nut comes off, and the street 90 is in the way. Its acts like it is bonded on there, not to mention the lack of room to work with.

Any suggestions on how to get it off?

Leave it and just start plumbing to it. I think that they might be using 3M 5200 or similar on the threads. The 90 wasn't ideal when I redid ours but it's not so bad that I'd invest any significant time to redo. Even if you want larger fittings, one smaller fitting isn't going to make much difference (the diameter of the hose will have a much bigger impact).

Leave it, but if you really want to get it off a dremel tool cutoff wheel works well in that space.

The stock one was too tall for what I was doing and was a 90* on mine. Every 90 kills water flow a bit. I cut it off with an angle grinder in seconds. I tried heat along with pipe wrenches, sprays, someone holding underneath and nothing budged. Cut that bad boy off.

I am committed at this point, as the intake is dangling. I'm not sure if I can get it resealed without getting it completely off.

A heat gun will soften the 5200 and get it to release. Just be careful not to burn to gel coat/glass.
